Augusta Family
Wenmar Beef Shorthorns presents our Augusta Family of beef shorthorn cattle. Our aim is to breed quality bulls and heifers suitable to carry the breed forward onto the next generation. Wenmar Beef Shorthorns are members of PCHS, and all our cattle carry a very high health status.
Photo taken August 2022. Augusta Nova is another lovely roan heifer that we were fortunate enough to purchase at the Millerston dispersal. She was on our shortlist after visiting Millerston Farm before the sale. As a heifer she produced us a good roan bull calf and she proved to be an excellent mother giving everything to her calf. We are hoping to get a heifer this year and it is very unlikely that Augusta Nova will be leaving our herd in the near future.
