Other herd genetics of note in Imagine’s pedigree are Eionmor, Alta Cedar, Banner and Muridale. Imagines mother is Saskvalley Daisy 186R who again comes from a very long proven female line at Saskvalley and on back to the Gar-linds. Muridale Tasha 36U is a long lovely deep bodied cow with plenty of volume. Good locomotion with a neat udder and a nice head and muzzle. She was sired by Saskvalley Bonanza 219M who comes from another strong Saskvalley female line the Brenda’s. Tasha’s dam Muridale Sasha 61P is out of another strong Muridale female line, with lots of proven genetics running through her pedigree. A notable point in the Muridale cows are their volume, a point I noted on an earlier visit to Western Canada. Water freezes quicker in a hose pipe than it does in a bucket, just think about that when considering wintering cows outside.
