Photo taken early September 2019. Nonpariel F044 is from an exceptional female line, they just produces great heifer calves. Her grandmother was sold rising 8 years to establish a new herd in Ireland. F044's mother was one of my favourites, but she was also sold in 2016 to establish another new herd. F044's calf from 2019 was our best bull calf until an accident in the shed prior to turnout. We almost parted with F044 this summer but decided to squeeze her into our longer term plans. She is likely to be with us now for some time.

Photo taken early September 2019. Nonpariel H079 is one of those females that just grows on you as time goes by. She has a lovely nature and takes after her mother who was one of my favourites. H079 produced her third calf this year, a heifer and she is something special. Look out for her Nonpariel N001. We expect H079 and her calf N001 to be with us for a while and develop this great female line.

Photo taken September 2019. Tessa J098 is one of my favourites, and one which I feel will have a place in our herd for a long time to come. It was hard to let her mother go but J098 is proving a safe replacement. J098 has given us 2 heifer calves and both have been retained in the herd to further develop this female line.

Photo taken September 2019. Tessa K122 is out of Tessa E012 that I should not have sold. See her as a calf with her mother in the photo below. Tessa K122 is a Beeteater daughter and has reared her first calf this year. I would have preferred a heifer but a live calf is fine! Tessa K122 and her maternal sister J098 will be retained to develop and strengthen this already strong line.

Photo taken early October 2019. Tessa N016 is sired by Wenmar Lootah, a tremendous bull sired by Shadybrook Qantas. The Tessa family are one of our quietest families we have, and as heifers are not always the sweetest but they develop into very good mothers. N016 in my mind is a stylish calf and will hopefully find her place to enhance the qualities of this very strong female line.

Photo taken early September 2019. Nonpariel G054's sire was Wenmar Everest who is bred from the great Jilt female line. She has developed into a great cow. G054 has proved herself as a great mother and rears us a good calf each year. I just wish she would balance the book with another heifer calf. We are delighted to retain her in this strong cow family.

Photo taken early October 2019. Nonpariel N001 was our first calf born at Warren Farm; what a standard she has set for the rest to follow. She will be a great addition to this tremendous female line. I hope that she takes after her mother in mothering ability.

Photo taken September 2019. Tessa J111 is a daughter from our old foundation cow Tessa 263, who we sold when we dispersed our aged cows. J111 is a Podehole Beefeater daughter. She carries all of his style and presence. To date she has reared us two calves and will hopefully follow in the mothers foot steps to continue this strong female line.

Photo taken October 2019. Wenmar Tessa M186 was a late bred calf, and has developed well into a stylish heifer. Her mother J098 was my favourite heifer of her group and has so far produced us two heifers which are both being retained for the forseeable future.

Photo taken early October 2019. Zblda G048 is the best female by far that her mother has produced for us. The breeding of her mother to Beefeater has certainly added size and depth to this tremendous milky female line. G048 just will not produce us a heifer calf to develop this great female line. She was reclassified again this year as excellent and scored EX91; just wish that she would produce me a heifer calf. Fingers crossed for 2020.
